PREDATOR records all security-related events in a local log file: start, alarms, stop. By reading this log, you will know if intruders have tried to use your computer while you have been away.
Open PREDATOR's Menu and click the "Show Log" item to open the Log window:
By default, PREDATOR displays current month activity. You can select another period with the corresponding Period drop-down list.
Use the Level drop-down list to filter which category of events should be listed:
- Information = all events,
- Warning = major and critical events,
- Error = critical events only.
Use the File menu to manage PREDATOR's log files:
Save As... to save the log of the selected month either as a plain text file, or as a CSV file (CSV files can be loaded in any spreadsheet or database program).
Delete... to move the log of the selected month to the recycle bin. Only passed months can be deleted, because the log file of current month is still in use.
